My wonderful friend, Kathy Slamp, works on this ship as a Naturalist. Her husband, Dr. David Slamp, has organized a cruise July 4-11, 2010 on the Sapphire Princess. This cruise sails in and out of Seattle (less money for air). Ports of call are Ketchikan, Tracy Arm, Juneau, Skagway, and Victoria, BC.

Tips would be on top of this; they are about $50.00 per person for the entire week.

In Juneau, we will try to schedule a group whale watch.

In Skagway: She recommends taking the White Pass narrow gauge train, but she has no control over that cost.

Kathy and David can give lots of tips on how to see the ports and save money without booking the high-priced shore excursions.
