I thought I had all the answers
I had my life figured out
Full of my self-sufficiency
I left no room for doubt
God had to shake me to wake me
He told me to stop playing games
And when push came to shove, I surrendered to Love
And I’ve never been the same (since)

Now I live by the light of His Word

I tried to be successful
What everybody thought I should be
